4. Programme of Study

The course covers two years, three terms per year, and consists of a taught component, practical experience, as well as a research project.

This will be carried out under the supervision of course directors, during the two year period. Project area will be related to any of the above areas and closely related to daily work of the student. He/she will spend a minimum of the equivalent of one contact hour per week with the supervisor. (104 hr)

4.7 Practical experience: CLGY 5202, 6203, 5204, 6205 (28 units)

Work or attachment in the care of elderly in the medical (in the broadest sense including nursing and allied health disciplines), and/or social setting, and the writing of one case report, consisting of three hours per week over a four month period.
