Programme Information

Aim

  • Comprehensive review of major diseases and analysis of various medical topics and issues.

 

  • Networking healthcare professionals to facilitate shared care between the private and public sectors.

Admission Requirement

Candidates must have a Medical Science related degree (e.g. Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy) or equivalent qualification.

Programme Design

 

The Diploma programme will commence in 23 January 2022 and be completed in 31 December 2023.

 

  • A 2-year diploma programme

 

  • 24 sessions on Sunday afternoons from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m.

 

  • Each session will address 3 topics through lecture, interactive case study and paper discussion.

 

  • Teaching format of each topic will be:

Total teaching and learning hours for the Diploma are 378 hours

Requirements for Awarding the Diploma or Certificate

 

  • Diploma will be awarded to candidates who have attended AT LEAST 75% of the 2-year programme AND successfully passed the programme assessment at the end of BOTH year 1 and year 2.

 

  • Certificate will be awarded to candidates who have attended AT LEAST 75% of year 1 OR year 2 programme AND successfully passed the programme assessment at the end of that year.

 

  • Attendance of individual session will acquire CME, CNE and CPD of the session.

 

  • Certificate or Diploma will be awarded to Day Registration participants if their accumulated participation achieve 75% of the total attendance and pass the examination(s) as required by the respective programme of study

Programme Assessment

Assessment in the form of multiple choice questions will be held at the end of each year

2-year Diploma Programme

Medical Practitioners:

HK$30,000 (HK$28,000 for one single payment)

Para-Medics:

HK$20,000 (HK$18,000 for one single payment)

1-year Certificate Programme

Medical Practitioners:

HK$15,000

Para-Medics:

HK$10,000

Day Registration

Medical Practitioners:

HK$1,600 per session

Para-Medics:

HK$1,000 per session

Professional Accreditation

The Diploma is approved by Medical Council of Hong Kong as Quotable Qualifications.

 

Participants will be accredited Continuing Medical Education (CME), Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points. Details will be announced when available. Please come back and check it out later.
