The Master of Science Programme in Stroke and Clinical Neurosciences (CNS) is heading towards its fourth anniversary. Established in 2006 by Mok Hing Yiu Chair Professor of Medicine & Therapeutics Prof. Lawrence K.S. Wong, our Programme prepares nurses, therapists and medical doctors for challenges posed by stroke and neurological diseases while advancing their careers. Through the years we have differentiated ourselves as a premier programme in health care in the university landscape:
We are the first and the only postgraduate taught programme in neurology in Hong Kong, bringing together expertise in stroke care, general neurology, neurorehabilitation and all relevant areas. Teaching faculty are experts in their specialized areas with long teaching experience.
The programme is tailored immaculately for full-time health care professionals to their pursuit of knowledge. We continually fine-tune course content to achieve a comprehensive coverage with an optimum balance between its breadth and depth. Together with a carefully framed combination of class types, we hope to offer students an exciting and fruitful learning experience.
Our students initiate pilot projects on care and prevention of neurological diseases in hospitals and clinics. We teach real applied knowledge and our students contribute.
Delivering quality that meets the high expectations of health care professionals is the foundation of CNS’ philosophy. We keep refining and redefining the standards of quality that CNS delivers in every course and every detail.
