Objectives

The Master of Science in Cardiology aims to provide a comprehensive coverage in different aspects of clinical cardiology. It is a taught master programme designed for professionals who are interested in developing career specialised in clinical cardiology and cardiac care. Students will gain advanced knowledge and skills in the daily management of cardiac patients in diverse settings.

Study Mode

Part-time study for two years. Maximum study period for four years.

Programme Structure

It is a two-year part-time taught master programme delivering through lectures, workshops, interactive case presentation and discussion, prescribed self-study readings and multi-media videos.

There are three terms each academic year, starting from September to July. The programme runs on a modular basis and students will take the pre-assigned course in each term.

Teaching Faculty

The programme will be taught by academic staffs of the Department of Medicine & Therapeutics, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and guest faculties who are experienced specialists in their respective fields.
